The Fire Safety Assessor Register, provided by Fire Protection Association Australia (FPA Australia) serves as a tool for building owners and industry seeking accredited practitioners (APFS).

 

As an accredited practitioner listed on the Register, Craig has declared that he meets the minimum requirements for experience, insurance, professional conduct and commitment to future accreditation.

The Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme (FPAS) was formally  approved by the Secretary of the Department of Customer Service under section 59 of the Building and Development Certifiers Act 2018 on 1st July 2020.

 

This means that, as of 1 July, 2020, Fire practitioners must be accredited under FPAS if they wish to perform ' regulated work' under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000 (EPAR) and endorse fire safety measures on annual or supplementary fire safety statements.

 

To perform these roles, Accredited Practitioners need to hold an accreditation number, Craig’s APFS Accreditation number is: F009340A

Craig has also recently completed his Diloma in Fire System Design for the Detection & Warning Systems Stream and will shortly be on the FPAA FSD Register.
